The May invitation to Modernissimo is dedicated to the work of the group of Florentine architects Superstudio, who, starting in the Seventies, created a series of five films on the Fundamental Acts, which rethink the daily and unchanged rites of human history. In 1971, Superstudio was invited by Emilio Ambasz to participate in the exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape, held at MoMA and, for the occasion, presents an environment and a film entitled Supersurface. An Alternative Model for Life on Earth, which after the exhibition becomes the first episode of the Acts with the new title Life. Between 1972 and 1973, the second film Ceremony will follow. The last three chapters, already written originally, will be produced digitally only in 2010: Education, Love and Death are presented on the occasion of the São Paulo Art Biennial.
