GENDER BENDER

AMADRIADI | FUGA BWV 565

AMADRIADI a show by Michele Ifigenia Colturi/Tyche with the support of Palazzo Bentivoglio The Amadriadi are figures from Greek mythology who live inside trees, nymphs that unite the divine and the vegetable in their being, but who are also represented with human traits. Fluid identities that crystallize, as in the performance in which the public is invited to cross space and get in touch with the presence of the three dancers in continuous transfiguration between ancestral sounds and references from the ancient world. Sunday, November 2 4:30 p.m. former church of San Mattia free admission subject to availability - FUGUE BWV 565 a show by Michele Palermo and Gaetano Petrosino with the support of Palazzo Bentivoglio FUGA BWV 565 is a choreographic project based on the act of running as a sporting practice, a metaphor for a paradoxical existential condition: that of those who move while remaining still on a treadmill, fleeing from themselves and their contingencies, in search of a well-being that is always distant and elusive. The movement thus enters into dialogue with the musical form of the baroque fugue, characterized by repetitions, oscillations and fast rhythms. Gaetano Palerno and Michele Petrosino continue their research on the nature of the performing act starting from everyday life, creating a minimal choreography of the concrete gesture, on the border between reality and fiction. Friday, November 7 2:30pm and 4:00pm Saturday, November 8 15:00 Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna free admission subject to availability
