Nearly ten years after its initial publication, *Incompiuto*—defined by its authors as “the most significant Italian architectural style from the postwar period to the present day”—has gained increasing cultural relevance in the debate surrounding the country’s architectural landscape. This volume represents the first and only systematic investigation, the result of over fifteen years of field research, into a highly debated yet not fully acknowledged reality: the widespread presence of buildings and infrastructure across Italy that were never completed. This new edition updates and expands the narrative with an enriched visual archive, an essay on the current state of the phenomenon, and an updated census of unfinished works. *Incompiuto* continues to serve as an invitation to observe our surroundings, recognizing in the absence of completion a potential grammar of the present.
